Inspiration Time: KEIKO MINAMI

This evening I was “pinteresting” and looking for beautiful illustrations when I found a very   interesting japanese artist….. I didn’t know but she was a very famous one: KEIKO MINAMI.
She was born in Japan in 1911 and lived in Paris from 1954 to 2004. Keiko Minami was married to artist Yozo Hamaguchi. In 1959 she was given the title of ‘Official Artist of the United Nations’ for her print, ‘Tree of Peace’.
I would like to link her name to some official page but it’s not so easy to find: there is a book on Minami’s work called Bonheur, which was reviewed on Book By Its Cover and is available on Amazon.  Biography from the Archives of AskART.
Enjoy it!
